As the founder of The ReVamp, Amanda leads a powerful movement in sustainable fashion, turning clothing swaps into joyful, community-driven festivals that support homeless and domestic violence shelters across Detroit. To date, her community has swapped and shared over 76,000 lbs of clothing—and counting.
Extending this work beyond the event floor, Amanda is the self-publisher of The Swap Magazine, a quarterly print and digital publication celebrating style, sustainability, art, and community through editorial features, creative challenges, and contributor-led storytelling.
Amanda is also the Director of Ecosystem Development at Bamboo Cowork, where she supports entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners through dynamic events, consulting, and statewide connections. She’s the host of The Let’s Glow Show, a weekly spotlight on creative entrepreneurs and their inspiring stories.
Crowned Miss Voluptuous America, Amanda proudly represented women of all sizes on a global stage, using her platform Party with Purpose to champion confidence and joy. Most recently, she was honored with the Facilitator’s Choice Award from TechTown Detroit’s Retail Bootcamp, where she began building her newest venture, ReVamp The Community—an immersive event and activation agency.
